The anti-catholic bend of the past is long gone.

If anything, i expect to see "resignations" which were encouraged by the church officials.

The homosexuals will not go easily.

No they won't go easily; the American Catholic Church is infested with gays. But I do hope this Pope is as tough as he's being made out to be. The Church as an institution cannot move forward until this ongoing culture of homosexuality is removed once and for all....

For this and for no other reason, I wish this Pope the very best in good health and he has my prayers and best wishes.
