I only ran away once. I was about 10 years old and went to the field at the end of the street. I made a stick house. Nobody missed me. My folks drove by after a few housr, stopped at the field, and hailed for me to get in the car.

My kid brother went missing once. He was found curled up in his closet, with a blanket, taking a nap.

My sister did that at about the same age. A neighbor called my mom to tell her my sister was walking down the hill carrying a suitcase. :)

After reading this,
I wanted to run away
(still do!) but I have

bad teeth, and the thought
of a lost filling away
from a good dentist

terrifies me more
than spending another day
with the mainstream news . . .

I threatened to run away once when I was 8. My mother's response... "Oh, what fun! Where are WE going? Let's go pack!! That did it for me. I never threatened again. LOL
