Both of my daughters had black dresses for the bridesmaids,,it is all the rage. And they can use them after as they picked their own with requirements that they have straps, long and not with hoop skirts. The weddings were in the evening, black tie, and it was gorgeous. And the bridesmaids can use the dresses over and over.
The candles, the black and the white bridal gowns with the flowers,,it was gorgeous.
Thank goodness she didn't do this on Derby Day.
It sounds beautiful - my bedroom is black and white and I love it. But here in LA (Lower Alabama) there still stuck on pastels - dresses so gawd ugly - they'll never be worn twice.
BTW sis, my father is from Franklin, Louisiana and one of his cousins taught me the finer elements of table setting. She made it an art.
