If there was a predilection for this type of behavior, the FBI and LE would have said, "she has done this before, a missing mentally ill young woman".....
She's just a self-centered nasty person, and I hope she (and any one else involved) pays a high price for the torture they put their loved ones through.
I've read some stories where loved ones' health failed and they died after someone was abducted/murdered. It happens....
Not to mention the anxiety of the people in the community thinking there may be an abductor/murderer in the area. My daughter left for a weekend visit to Atlanta last night. I guess I can go back to worrying about the other drivers in the area rather than kidnappers.
Self-centered, we all are. I don't have a clue what's inside her head, but it's just as likely she was wigged out the wedding. Either afraid it wouldn't come off, or tired of not being in control of her own destination.
Most runaways don't think about what they left behind. Some, but not all runaways are nasty people.
