"My THEORY is that he may have known"

My husband has said this from day one. I should have listened to him :~)

Albuquerque police chief said his parenting instinct took over and so he decided to give her the teddy bear....made me gag, actually.

My point is if she called her parents before she called 911 in NM there's no way to tell if the parents or fiance told her she was on CNN.

Hey, I think it was a great idea to give her a teddy. Cute gift for a kid...even if it is a big kid! I do have to agree though that a spankin' would have been more in order.

Oh...

My parenting skills would have been to beat the crap out of her for all the misery she has caused.

All this police escort drama, covering her head, teddy bears is sickening.

People who truly have loved ones missing are who I feel pity for. This selfish twit should be shunned.

In total agreement. Curious, why on earth would the police give her (a full grown adult) a friggin teddy bear doll? She must've really worked her baby talk voice to the hilt. Oy

Works for me. But she's cute and has one of those gadgets that's popular with the fellas.

I agree. I was just posting what was said. I have no idea what she knew or didn't know. lol! This story is so interesting for so many reasons, to me. The big reason being I think she is a pampered drama queen who has been using it to the max to get her way (whatever that may be).

Her fiance is meeting her dressed in shots and a POLO T-shirt.

How country club yuppy of him. Surprised he didn't have a white tennis pull over draped around his shoulders. Is his nickname Biff too? Folks, you can't make stuff like this up.

I have six nephews who would agree with that. No kids, thank God!

A pall seems to have fallen on our party since hearing the girl's feet have been chilly a time or two before.

Up to now this thread was a funny tangent to a sad situation.
Now they all look pretty foolish, right along w/my sentimentality.

Oh well, another day, another 1° of cynicism...

Maybe Martha Stewart will donate her wedding planning expertise to such a "deserving" couple?

There was a little quaint French restaurant right across the street from the CalNeva, did you happen to go there?
