Funny, CNN reporter on same plane with Jen.

She's sitting in first class still with the blanket on her head. Police protecting her until plane departs.

Unless she gets together and they marry, her life is going to be hell for a long time. Isn't that enough?

Yes it is enough. In all seriousness, it would be great if the media left this story alone for the next weeks.

If you haven't found an actual case, author John Grisham has prolly written it---his novels usually have a person who had disappeared under strange circumstances....

What a great story. I haven't seen anything quite this entertaining in a while. She's a loon, but she's giving one hell of a performance.

She must have worn sun glasses, otherwise pwople would have recognized her right away by her 'distinctive eyes'.

Blanket still on her head on plane? I was wondering who on the plane would be the first to capture her new hairdo on their picture phone, but looks like that isn't gonna happen.

Seriously - do you know of a case where a staged self abduction was prosecuted?

I don't recall if it was this thread or a different one, but someone pointed out that the girl in Wisconsin that faked her own abduction is now paying off a $9,000.00 fine. Wish I could remember who posted that.

I'll never underestimate American women again. No wonder no foreign armies ever invade... look how much damage and destruction one American woman can cause...:-)

Her very first words to the police was that she was kidnapped. The actions prior to the 911 and the 911 call confirm that her intent was to stage an abduction. Minimum charge, Falsifying a police report but other charges could be obstruction if she admits she knew the police were looking for her based on a staged crime and didn't come forward right away.
