What was the name of the church where the betroved received pre-marital counseling? I'll bet dollars to donut holes that it was a liberal church.

I wonder what kind of Christian pre-marital counseling do you get, when you are currently shacking up with your fiancé'? Does their pastor think that a successful marriage can come out of a sinful relationship? Did that counseling not condemn the sin they were currently living in? Is this the way Christians behave?

These kinds of asinine situations are typical products of liberal churches. Next will be the Hollywood book and movie deals - a real life "Run-A-Way Bride". The feminazis will deify her and there will be no consequences for her actions. Worst of all, they wil probably still get married.

What a pathetic story of Christian culture in our country today.

I've seen about 4 different pastors involved in this. This is another tight-knit community drunk on their own perceived power, wealth and clout, a la Pinellas in Florida.

Local folks puffing out their chests is as old as America itself, but now CNN and Fox give them a national forum...

No kidding! Remember when that black woman doctor turned up missing not too long ago? Barely a mention more than one media cycle. No Feds, no state, just local. Stuffed in the trunk of her car by an ex-husband. I'm starting to get ticked off.

Didn't you argue with me yesterday when I said the news was becoming voyeurism? Well, another pretty woman abducted and potentially raped and murdered fit that bill. And many who followed it were itching to hear the details... Even staying up all night.

Surprising thing is, it turned out to be even more interesting than grisly.

It's interesting you should use the word "Drama Queens." I believe unless you're Donald Trump, having 600 people at your wedding is a sign of narcissism. A lot of women have something like post partum depression after weddings. I mean for months all the attention is on you, it's like you really are the queen. Then.. the big day... and then it's over and real life sets in and for some women it's difficult. Looks like this woman liked the drama more than the idea of marriage. I don't want her glorified, I want her ridiculed.

Jail can provide that, along with the solitude she craves.

Sorry, it's 2005. Many successful marriages come out of, as you term it, "sinful" relationships." I lived with my husband for two years before we married. We have the best marriage of anyone I know. And that's the truth.

I am back from the greenhouse, by the way. I bought the most beautiful begonias and New Guinea impatiens. Corals and yellows. They cheer me up, but alas, they are sitting in the garage because we are having cold rain. I will pot them if the rain quits later this afternoon.

I'm also wondering if she met someone in Vegas. Maybe one last fling? An old boyfriend? Perhaps?

When my wife started with the Drama Queen act, I just took off my shirt.
