Silly games like however many ribbons you break opening your gifts: the amount of children you will have, etc. etc.
Eight showers would send me over the edge too.
I hope she pulls herself together, gets help and finds happiness.

I can't believe it, when the anchor's were reporting they were actually pointing their fingers....literally pointing. I love a good CNN slapdown in the morning! (They was robbed of a good search story today)

Status quo. This crap is old as the hills. Her case is one of thousands in the past 10 years. Not all wedding related, but "voluntary dissapearing" isn't exactly her original idea. Boy, is that the truth! I knew someone who did a lot of genealogy. She had a grandfather who in about 1910 disappeared. Went out to buy cigarettes in Chicago one day and was gone. Everyone thought he was dead after that.
Little did he know that 90 years later, in the year 2000, his future granddaughter would come across him in the 1920 census in Wyoming! (With a new family of course.)

ROTFLOL!
When I went back to bed, I awoke my poor dear husband and to tell him she'd been found...and about the abduction and he said to me and I quote, "DAMMIT, SOMEDAY YOU'LL LISTEN TO ME." lol-lol-lol -- he's been saying this was the act of a drama queen....
Maybe I ought to start listening to him, huh? ROTFLOL!LOL That's funny.

Except. Fiance put out the "cold feet" excuse on the first day. Not exactly the first thing I would think of. That's not an "except" at all. It plays into the theory that someone knew she had reason to run off mad.
To: maggiefluffs
She was "scared and concerned about her pending marriage"..............sort of like Dingy Harry Reid and Plugs Biden nervously awaiting the "nuclear option".

Maybe the pre-wedding night was very weird.

Surely, Rita's "sources" will have all been co-oped by tonight....unless she interviews Jennifer's elementary teachers about the early clues to her behavior that they had noticed earlier.
To: Txsleuth
Am I reading too much into that comment he made? Did any of ya'll see that interview and think it was an odd way for him to reacNo, that was a really creepy thing to say.

"Tinking of the girlies" - I hesitate to ask what THAT means :)
This thread is so entertaining. (So is the unusual number of military flights going by both yesterday and today. Somethings up and it ain't an airshow.)

You probably just hit the nail on the head. CNN planned on covering the search and crucifying the boyfriend all day. They have no other programming scheduled.

I hope "Wendy Mason" is bald as a cue-ball.
To: loveliberty2
her actions have more to do with the prospects of a "marriage" (with all that implies) than with the "event" (wedding)so true

Me too. She's probably a very nice girl. But this was uncool to the hilt.
