Governor's kudos for Minutemen brings outcry

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger yesterday praised the self-styled Minutemen, branded as "vigilantes" by President Bush, as doing a "terrific job" in reducing illegal border crossings.

The governor's comments on a Los Angeles radio talk show evoked an orchestrated outcry of "immigrant bashing" from legislative Democrats.

Assemblyman Hector De la Torre, a South Gate Democrat Demogogue, condemned the governor as endorsing frontier justice.

"Frontier justice" has yet to rear its ugly head.

"George Bush called these people what they are – vigilantes," [Bush is wrong] De la Torre said. "They are outside the law. [no, they are not] And Arnold Schwarzenegger who took an oath to uphold the law [true] is supporting these people [yes] who are outside the law." If they were "outside the law" why were they not arrested?

This [radio] series was an outgrowth of the popular Boston Blackie movies starring Chester Morris.  When radio produced this series, Chester Morris again took up the role from 06/23/44 to 09/15/44 for a total of thirteen episodes.  The lead then changed to Richard Kollmar starting on 04/11/45.

I'm glad it's not racism or anything against an old Bostonian of Irish/Italian great grandparent' legal immigrants. Unfortunately, Kennedy, Kerry and Dukakis are from Mass and are/were supported by 2/3 of the voters.

However, I refuse to surrender to the enemy and run from my home state. I'm glad the political minority did not run from the Lexington Green or Bunker Hill without putting up a fight.

Cut and run...like the government is doing with illegal immigration...NEVER.
