SS Heading toward THE RED. Shortfall worse. SS will be bankrupt. FDR did a wonderful thing creating SS. Safety net, dignity, peace of mind, yet there's a hole in the safety net. Seniors and people w/ disabilities will get their checks...

We haven't had an energy policy in this country. Comprehensive energy policy. More energy at home. ANWR. 19 million acres of land, just 2000 of that 19 million for oil and gas. Liquified natural gas. Only 5 terminals to receive liq gas. Active nuclear energy policy. Less dependent on foreign sources.
re: today's prices... It wouldn't be the same today if we had 10 years ago a strategy. Took us a while to get in, it'll take a while to get out.
