"Thank you for your interest. God bless our country."
You can get the transcript for all of this at the WH or Fox sites.
My nephews must be terribly traumatized.
I'm so sorry.
Damn this was a better Smackdown than on UPN tonight.
correction, the president wants to give OTHER PEOPLE'S money to poor people... in this case MINE. In that aspect... he's a wealth redistributing socialist. Funny that you mentioned poor in Mexico. He seems set on letting them in here carte blanche, contrary to our nation's best interest and immigration law... and the will of the majority of Americans, whilst labelling the patriots who want the law enforced, 'vigilantes'. Disgusting.
WRONG... NOT if he does it to raise support for wealth redistribution, like Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton.
Being personally moral does not mean one is being moral in taking MONEY from one and giving it to others, after campaigning on the devolution of tax and power from the feds to the states and individuals. In fact, that could be considered LYING... and is arguably JUST as immoral, per se, as getting a quickie hummer in the closet.
And which is what we elected him to NOT DO, because it is what our enemies the socialists aka, democrats have done since FDR and his grand theft 'national' program.
Actually HE did not GIVE us anything. We elected him with the mandate to return what was ours, which he has not done. It is after all, OUR money. And he has not gone to the mat to make the miniscule tax cuts PERMANENT... or any effort to cut them further and do so PERMANENTLY... but he HAS spent a lot more money, at larger rates and increase levels, than his democrat, immoral and redistributionist predecessor... Willie the Sink.
Actualy freeper friend.... he meets the definition very nicely. 'the needs of the many' and "from each according to his ability to each according to his need" are concepts of marx and lennon.
better than lurch. heck yes.
but realistically he is a big spending redistributionist socialism policy maker, superintending the financial collapse of our nation.
You are clearly in denial. But will wake up soon enough, because we are past the event horizon, aka, the point of no return.
Yeah they do and they want them to stay open.
Bush kicked but.
The MSM is going to be confused because GWBush spoke LIKE A HUMAN BEING!
You expect the enemy to laugh at Bush's jokes?
The whole thing for the reporters is to trip up Bush and make him look crooked, dumb, or mean....
I don't think they did any of the above, so IMHO, success!!
DANG- missed the cheap shot quote...
But just heard him thank the press for their "answers".....
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!
All three major networks cut out for their sweeps programs.
Why thank you. A rather pleasant visual!
Did you ever see "Judgement at Nuremburg"? The guy who played a Nazi on trial (Col. Klinks character) is refusing to recognize the court, and there is an MP behind him with an M1...you really think he is going to rifle butt him in the back of the head.
I thought of that too, but much too...totalitarian!
Sigh, and therein lies our problem. You don't see that under a federal republic our leaders are not there to please the electorate. They're there to do a specific job. Even if that job means they will lose the next election. Social Security is one of those situations if we are ever to begin to return to a limited federal government
See my #743

KMA...
Thanks for your links, but I have a feeling that they will not be enough for itsinthebag.
I can care less about your "thin patience". And I do know how press conferences operate, and neither the press nor the president are going about it right. I consider Mr. Bush a decent enough man, but my word, he needs to take the bull by the horns and bring these subjects up rather than waiting for the press to ask, which they never will.
Yes, it is! ;^D
They initially were going to be the only Net to carry it from start to finish. Good to see they honored their guarantee.
