This really should not surprise anyone. The American family, in general, has disintegrated to such a state and we, the people, have given the state the right to dictate what is to be taught to our children. We have not voted for this but apathetically accepted that they know what is best for our kids.
This is not to say that it is right. It isn't, but for YEARS the apathetic parents have relied on the public school system to raise their kids. Those of us who are active participants in our children's lives and educations should be and probably are aghast at the though of someone other than ourselves raising our kids.
It is time for someone to say enough. Like this guy did. The public schools do NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELL US HOW TO RAISE OUR KIDS! WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELL THEM HOW TO EDUCATE AND WHAT TO INSTRUCT OUR CHILDREN IN. However this is taking place in a REALLY BLUE STATE. I doubt that control can be taken back from the politicians.
I will pray for this man and his family.

I agree with you. For 15 years or more the main stream media, elitist educators, the judicial system, state and federal lawmakers and entertainers have worked feverishly to deconstruct the American family. Now they have moved into the phase of reconstructing another type of family which does not offend their sensibilities.

The public education system has completely broken down and degraded to this type of contemptible behaviorship on the part of the school systems leadership, from the school administrator to the head of the NEA. Now, this leadership, rather than sit down and reason with a concerned parent (remember, one of the schools most voiced criticism is there is little or no parental involvement), enjoin the state police to arrest a concerned parent, rather than acceed to reasonable demands of this father. Up is down and yes is no.

Time to get the kids out of indoctrination camps called public schools.

... for YEARS the apathetic parents have relied on the public school system to raise their kids.

All part of the scheme.

That's why the tax code is so repressive.

The push by liberals for women to enter the work force and the taxes and other expenses incurred just to pay the bills force families to need two incomes just to supply the essentials.

The state then can supply daycare etc, and have more control of the children.

There is story about citizens complaining about Hitler having too much control over them and he said Too late, I already have your children.
