"What I realized writing my book was that I had been empty since adolescence."

You still are, sweetheart.

Little Janie knows a few of the cliches of religiosity and "churchianity," but throughout her interview, she has absolutely no reference to Christ. And without Christ, no one is a christian. "Feelings" and "upwellings" and liver-quivers are meaningless.

Sorry, Jane, you're not credible. You've had no conversion. You have been a feminist, and now you think you can be a christian feminist.

Reminds one of Mickey Cohen, the gangster. He got "religion" like Janie, and thought he could be a christian gangster! It doesn't work that way!

Actually she says that Christ is what attracted her to Christianity rather than Buddhism or what have you. And she says she believed she was saved -- so according to our good Protestant friends she has sealed her place in Heaven already.

it's about as credible as her apology. Fine Jane, be a Christian. Don't tell me about it. I'm not the one you need to impress. I'm actually praying for her, in a general sense.
