What do you think about his latest ratings book?

He's giving most of them away......

FWIW, As its not kosher for an ex-president to bad mouth a seated president, it is also not kosher for one conservative talk show host to badmouth all the others who do not have the demented ferver that he has........He is DESPERATE to have his book mentioned on Rush and Hannity and all the others to the extent he has even publicly offered a reward to anyone who can get on the air under false premises and ask why they don't discuss his book.

While he does occasionally get into serious topics, he now seems obsessed with bashing the Bush family, O'Reilly, Hannity and Rush. There is no need for it, it is obvious he is craving the audience they have and in his own mind the only way he is going to get that audience is by bashing his own comrades-in-arms.

The guy is sick........

FWIW, here in Detroit at 8:41 p.m. I just stepped back into the kitchen in time to hear the Savage absolutely go ballistic on a caller. Sorry, there is no way in heck I can ever support this guy as a conservative talk show host.......

His ratings book is not his book ratings as in how many he sold. I thought by prior screed that you were more knowledgeable than that.

His ratings book is radio speak for ratings. The higher his ratings means at least two things. He has more listeners and/or his listeners are in a preferential demographic, and the most important, he gets to charge more for commercials.

Do a search on Google using Savage, ratings, WOR, NY Post, as search terms, and you will find how well he is doing not only in NYNY but nationwide compared to other TSH (talk show hosts). Since the election cycle his ratings have increased and most TSH and print media have decreased. His regional demographics show he has broad appeal. He does well in CA as he does in NY as he does in Atlanta and Boston. He has about 300 odd radio outlets and he will be with us and you for the duration.

As I say to other folks, just don't dial him in and get over it.

BTW, if his first, second, and third printing is over 200,000 copies, tell me how can he give them all away at the rate of about five books a day? That would be over 100 years at seven days a week.

As you read my last reply to you, please disregard my comment about your last screed as I did not read your name prior to my reply. I assumed that it was the guy I replied to originally. Sorry.

Remember, reference to a "ratings book" is a reference to radio ratings because the contract that radio stations and TSH sign prohibit, usually, the dissemination of the information without permission of the rating company like Arbitron. Only the advertisers and sales folks get that info, usually. There is a lot more to ratings than just general numbers but the real data is in the demographics where family income and education are factored in.
