And it's kind of funny that the Arnold haters are asking about "hating" McClintock.
McClintock should work for a thinktank, he has some good ideas, but his uncompromising nature precludes him from being an effective anything in politics. He voted against his own bill, on car licence fees, because he didn't get everything.
Yes, he's a very INeffective legislator. And, of course, effectiveness doesn't necessarily mean passing bills. But without the respect of your colleagues and others in the legislature, you're simply not able to represent your constituents - at least the sane ones.
