What he did and may do in the future is what scares me.
He was betraying the party IMO and causing there to be a split in a major race.
I feel his self absorbed style of career advancement in politics puts conservatism in a dangerous predicament.

He has proved to me that he thinks he's more important than the whole party.

He should be worked against real hard to be staying in small offices or out of politics in general. He's acts like a little Napoleon. That won't do squat for California.

Many McClintock voters threw away their votes to enable Democrats by voting for McClintock.
Some of the more logical voters went for Arnold. McClintock absolutely sucks when getting the vote in this state in a statewide election.

I think his risk of sabotage was ONLY about his desire to get his name out there for the future.
Of course if Bustamante won from McClintock's tactics, instead of attempting to justify his actions, we'd be all out trying to actively remove him from office. RECALL!

Bustamonte could not have won not matter how much they split the vote. The combined Republicans got 63%, Bustamonte only got 31%.

Bustamonte only got 31% because of the popular candidate that Arnold is.

No one knows the results of an election until the vote is counted.
At a time when no vote had taken place and McClintock knew he was both a loser and splitting the vote, that was IMO spoiling the election to the benefit of the Democrats.
We were darn lucky in California that Arnold was so powerful a candidate that he could survive a Democrat and a backstabbing wanna-be McC.

McC has lost my trust due to his actions, before that I liked him but just thought he needed to market himself better.
Now, I believe he is bad for the party, bad for the people and too in love with potential power to ever be trusted again.

You have repeatedly babbled the assertion that FReepers who supported McClintock would have preferred Bustamante to Arnold and have never supplied any evidence of its veracity. You have had over a year to search it and have failed to find a single corroborating post.

Now, thanks to you, FareOpinion, we don't have to wait for "some day," seeing as you have blown it again. In the thread at the above link, you asserted you could disprove EVERY ONE of the points in my oft repeated list of Arnold's record. You failed thereon to supply any evidence disproving a single one (even though one of them did have an error that has been since corrected).

I at least showed you the courtesy of warning you that I had bookmarked it, knowing that you would eventually blow it anyway.
