I undestand why you're asking them but they're pretty simplistic compared to the crime.
Simplistic? Then you answer them.
Our court system exacts a penalty. The perp pays it.
What is still owed? Why? Who decides?
Have you gotten away with crimes, unpunished? Speeding, underpaying bills? How about moral crimes, such as lying? Is it my place to demand justice on you -- or to exact it?
