From what I have heard this is going to be one of the best Enterprise Epidsodes from the pictures I have seen.
Note: I'm sorry if I don't post any Andromeda info. I find that show to be boring and I don't know if there are any fans of Andromeda on Free Republic...

Andromeda's first couple of episodes were cool, then it turned into yet another "Gilligan's Island in space" show... just like, say, Star Trek Enterprise.

Mirror universe? What is it about? Is it like that episode in the original Star Trek where Spock is evil with the goatee?

Bah! It pales compared to the new Battlestar Gallactica. Then again, every SciFi ever made for TV pales compared to it.

My favorite Star Trek episode of all time is when they beam down to the planet and the crew gets sprayed by that plant which turns them into these pot/dope heads "Everything is beautiful man", then Spock gets sprayed and he is tormented by his logic then he loses his logic and gets into the girl and they just waste their lives away. That was so great, just a huge dig at the hippies and liberals. Then they come out of it by getting mad, "My God, all this time we have wasted in our lives"

yeah... I've been looking forward to this ep since I heard it was coming.

yes... I'm a geek. sue me.

Just let me take this opportunity to repeat something I have said since the first episode of STE. What a totally lost opportunity. The producers -- and maybe the writers -- of this show should be shot. The potential for excellent SciFi was limitless, despite the casting of Scott Barfula.
The pretext was humans venturing into deep space for the first time. Each episode should have been about discovery and wonder and even fear of meeting new species. The crew of this Enterprise met new beings on a weekly basis with all the excitement of a 20-year bureaucrat coming to work yet again on another Monday. No wonder, no "gee whiz," nothing but, "oh, another alien. whoopie." The episode that came close to it was when the two crew members got stranded in a shuttle and almost died. One of the few episodes where the writer was allowed to make the story about the people and another stupid "cowboys and aliens" shoot 'em up. The only mystery to this series was how did they make Jolene Blalock's breasts defy gravity? TV will be a much bigger wasteland with her gone from it.
What a waste.

I really tried to like Enterprise and I thought the crew was great, but the story lines just seemed so out of place. I have grown to like the new BG on SciFi and broke my neck to get my cable back on. I grew to like Seasons 3-7 of Deep Space Nine even more than all 7 of TNG and I could tolerate Voyager, Seven of Nine made it more likeable the last few season, but Enterprise just lost too much steam after the first season, I still do watch it but except for a few good storylines, I think it was time to pull the plug and it is a shame that bad writing did the show in.

Sadly, this has been the best season of all of them for Enterprise. They finally got some decent writers and some decent scripts--so they cancel it. Pity. I had hoped the SciFi channel might pick it up, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

I still don't get why they are canning Enterprice before the usual 7yr standard.
I REALLY do think this season was superior to all but the 1st (and parts of the 2nd), and Enterprise was noted as THE MOST DOWNLOAED of ALL TVSHOWS (including things like south park, simpsons, 24, etc) internationally.
Its popular to sell in Europe, it obviously has the 'replay' syndication potention that ALL trek has had, hell they were even looking for 'private investment' to finish up 7yr stint.
Note how Battlestar Galactica (my fav next to Babylon5) was also PASSED ON and only got made because Murdoch's "Sky One" paid or 50% of the production costs.
Of course now Sci-Fi is kicking themselvs that Sky holds the EXCLUSIVE rights to it. Meaning UK will get the season 1st before SciFi just like Season 1 (hello bittorrent-- again)
I'm TV execs will look back on the abandoning of the series a bit early as a mistake.
(after they get done with DVD sales and syndiation and realize they wish they had more 'matieral')

I missed the season premiere and I'm going to miss this too (work 3rd shift). Are they going to replay any of these episodes? I really want to see the final season.

I don't know if there are any fans of Andromeda on Free Republic... Well, there may not be any Andromeda fans on FR but I'm sure there are some Andromeda fans on FR.

Andromeda has at least one reason to watch.
But so does Batlestar.

What do we have to do to get the new season of Doctor Who on American TV?
I mean, Star Trek is OK, but for real Scifi, you need the Doctor.
