Arpaio owes him an apology for shooting his mouth off on national TV just about having this young hero convicted. I'm confused. Isn't this the sheriff that houses his prisoners in field tents and tells them not to complain because our troops in the Middle East have it worse? Isn't this the sheriff that makes his prisoners wear pink underwear and eat sandwiches made of spoiled bologna? What's with him and Haab?

This is the sheriff with an overgrown ego who loves the notoriety. But his judgement is sometimes lacking because he sees everything through the prism of his enormous ego.
