(I wanna live to see how global warming turns out. I have an inside tip it's all a load of crap.)

A plumber/washing machine repair man (who's also an old friend) told me last year to keep the Maytags that I have right now, and to never get rid of them. He's seen much higher failure rates on the new models. About five years ago we replaced all our appliances with Maytags.
We purchased: washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove and dishwasher.
What a mistake, we thought we were "buying up" we were very mistaken. I wouldn't recommend Maytag products to anyone.
Disclaimer: I don't work for, or have any interest whatsoever in Maytag or any of their competitors.
