LNG Means Relatively LOW NATURAL GAS Prices: Deflating the "Cushion Gas" out of the Anti-LNG'ers
A journalist is somebody who possesses himself of a fantasy and lures the truth towards it. -- Arnold Wesker, Journey into Journalism
Newspaper journalists are spreading two fears about proposed Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) terminals offshore from California: (1)that they are dangerous and (2) that LNG will raise natural gas prices. LNG terminals are less dangerous than land-based natural gas reservoirs in urban areas which have no buffer and are potentially dangerous as they are pressurized with "cushion gas." Anti-LNG'ers are tricking the public into believing that LNG will raise gas prices by comparing the lower price of "working gas" with the higher "reserve price" of gas stored in the excess space in pipelines. An increased supply of natural gas from LNG will lead to lower prices.

Oh great. Now we have anti-LNGers. Just what we need. That's for sure. (sarcasm)
Would it be a good idea to store it benieth the ocean? The pressure would, like, make it smaller. (Sorry I don't have engineering brains...)
LNG is evil. You know what you should be using.
