We need to make space flight, especially the launch and space entry, such that we can send nuclear waste from power plants to the sun.
At this point, a nuclear waste vehicle malfunction might be equivalent to a dirty bomb.
This point alone might be enough to interest the power industry -- as apparently, one of the greatest negatives of nuclear power is the waste disposal problem.
This, of course, is a hair brain thought that entered this old mind and followed by no real analysis. I'll leave the analysis to the smart folk!

I remember meeting and talking with Dick Rutan, brother of Burt, for several hours. At later time, I met Dick again, and the lovely Jenna Yeager. They later flew the "Solitaire" around the world.
Thru Dick, I knew Burt a bit. He is a dynamic person and accomplished much. Burt designed what appeared to be unconventional aircrafts. They were designed to FLY! Not just to look good. That is the basic philosophy of the Rutan Brothers.
I expect to hear more from Burt as he goes on to accomplish much more to add to the aviation history.
It was a privilege to have met Dick and Jenna.
