Come to think of it, I can understand why a veteran would want to immediately comment on what I said. The memories of coming home aren't so warm and fuzzy for Vietnam vets. It's not like Desert Storm parades,etc. It's so tragic really.
Think about it. Read the book. Pretty revealing--if you care to know and learn. I'm not a veteran, but I'm there.

Yes. I despise what she did and I think she should have to face those P.O.W.'s whom she harmed and who represent those who will never return home whom she harmed, but spitting on anyone is filthy and I don't condone it.

The Vietnam Vets who arrived back home would have preferred to be welcomed with flags and parades; but they too were spit on, because Fonda and her friends said they were "baby killers" and deserved it.
Fonda deserved a little of the same treatment. She needs to realise what she put our heroes through. She needs to "feel their pain".
