I think ya'll are celebrating too soon--this afternoon an amendment was passed that was put up by Mikulski that allows ---illegals to come in and do "seasonal" work in NE restaurants--

When THAT amendments passed 94-6, it opened up the supplemental to the REST of the immigration bills that got voted down....

Those will prolly be voted on tomorrow----the dems won 2 big ones today---

That is based on a push-poll conducted by Ed Goas where they basically gave the choice of mass deportations or a guestworker amnesty. They left out the most popular option which is to enforce current law against hiring illegals.

It is a totally bogus poll and it doesn't deserve any credence.
