Darn ... my son was 'mildly' complaining about not feeling well. Now I wished I hadn't sent him to school.

I wish my other daughter was here.

At least, they were told that if a new Pope is announced during school hours, they will have an assembly to watch the outcome.

My son (age 9) is homeschooled. We stopped lessons so he can witness this! We're not Catholic, but it is a significant historical event by any view!

On 9/11, I was so grateful that both of my children, during such an tumultuous period of time, were on my lap.
