Glory be! Ratzinger is a marvelous choice. I thought he had made too many enemies to be elected, and I was wrong. This is a complete and total rejection of the liberal dissenters. It's a kick in the face for them. More important, it's a sign that the Cardinals have decided to respect God rather than men.
I just got out of class and this is the first I have seen this wonderful news.
I suppose this wipes out the notion that you "go in a pope and come out a cardinal".
He went in a pope and came out a pope!
