I wonder how many of us here broke any of the church's teachings in the past and are now condemning those who do the same.

Probably a lot, but that has no bearing on the transcendent. Personal weakens or hypocrisy is just that, what wold be worse would be to NOT recognize truth despite our inability or unwillingness to conform our self to that truth and not remind others that sin, is sin.
