"My point is that Islam is a grave threat to human civilization in general."

You will be pleased to know I too have read, studied, and pondered Islamic verse. You do understand that alot of the material you use to justify your opinions comes from Hadith, which is not part of Al-Quran, but a collection of the sayings and deeds of the Prophet Muhammad as related after his death by individuals who claim to have known him. I'm not saying you cannot find verse in Al-Quran that may incite violence against "The Enemies of God", just that one should understand the context.
I don't think all Jews should be stigmatized for Abraham's willingness to "sacrifice" (murder) his son Issac (Ishmael if your an Arab). After all, wasn't Abraham just showing his obedience to God's commandment just as a Muslim may believe he/she is doing so as well, as best as they can understand it? Christian traditions dictate one must be meek to inherit the earth and "Turn the other cheek", but their great leader Jesus drove the money changers out of the temple with a whip. In regards to Hadith, I personally don't trust anything with such a human fingerprint. But I do realize many militants and their Mullahs pour over such verse in an attempt to appeal to whatever shred of authority they can find to justify their depredations, which are politically motivated rather than religious. Islam is NOT a threat to world civilization as you say. The people that use Islam to further their political ambitions are.

Isaac was Abraham's son with Sarah, while Ismael was Abraham's son with Haggar.

Abraham was ready to sacrifice his beloved son Isaac as an
act of obedience to a direct command from G-d. Once G-d saw
Abraham would even slaughter his beloved Isaac if that is what G-d commanded him to do, he passed the test and was spared from doing so.
