But you would profess a religion that promotes pacifism and understanding.
There can be evil Christians (KKK) and there can be good Muslims (at least with hope)
Give him a chance. It isn't as if he could use a lie here to find you and commit heinous acts upon your family.
Also, he professes more of the descent of Persia, than of the puritanical Muslim ideals. Secular persia was a thing of splendor, with Islam being followed by the people. The Koran becoming the Constitution of any nation is a promise of evil.
