Yuma has already had at least one patrol. They're only patrolling on weekends.

Yuma has only had one patrol. About 20 went to the river for about an hour Sunday, two people from one of the local TV stations were there, they were surprised by the amount of trash left by the illegals. The first group will finish training next Monday, and will start patroling shortly thereafter. This group has no intention of patroling 24/7, the plan is to start off with 2 or 3 patrols a week at unannounced times, and locations, and expand from there depending on available volunteers.

Spiff, the issue we discussed has been resolved, I will be will be going on patrol as time permits.

These biased articles remind me of what was printed when the war in Iraq started. These liberals just can't stand it when Americans do something right.

Poor Arthur, he must be weeping in his latte :(

Protests of businesses hiring illegal aliens are being organized to cover the entire United States. Now, we can ALL be involved! <<<

I'm just now reviewing (catching up) on this thread. Will there be a list of these businesses available? I am ready for the protests and/or boycotts of businesses who support illegals.

I think the movement to protest employers that hire illegals is just in the organization stage - it was just announced yesterday that Jim Gilchrist of the MMP will be taking that on after he testifies in Washington, while Chris Simcox will be organizing another border watch along the 4 southern states and maybe even the northern border. Are those two amazing, or what! Modern-day heroes!!

All of the Minutemen (and women!) are showing the same patriotic fortitude of those who founded and fought for this Country before them!

No. They are not germane and I don't dispute them, whatever they are.

update from MMP:

Hey there kiddies...

Fun fun and more sleepless fun. Between being on the line, and
filling in at the comm center, its all about being busy.

As Shannon has stated, everything will remain basically the same. I
have been at every meeting, and have talked to Jim and such. I can
tell you that Jim has been saying over and over again that he will
be here till the 30th, with the exception of going to Washington for
a couple of days. Plz, anyone that is slated to come, come ! We need
you deperado style ! Especially where I am...haha...all alone for
some time last night on the sector 1 drug freeway line.

P.S.- Jim G. is basically running on empty, so if you hear him on
Hannity tonight again, plz remember he is half there right
now...getting fiesty after seeing some spin here in a local paper
out here that said in a headline, " Gilchrist calls it quits ".
Although the article did put the essential facts straight, it was
still insulting here and there.

More later...
