If his genius for filth isn't an ideology then let's call it a religion. He sure isn't a YR. He's a liberal.
"Medved only gets 1.5 million? Man, that's a shame.. They need to get him on more stations."
I agree! He is wonderful and has the best reasoned arguments for every subject. He is really good at debate on his subjects. I wonder if they counted all the XM listeners he gets.
Where is Hugh Hewitt?
Mike Gallagher getting 2.5 million is a joke.
The Dork Alarm goes off on that dweeb.
And he's only a marginal conservative. The only reason they have him listed here as a conservative is because he claims to be one. If you listen to his substance he's much more of a moderate than he lets on to be.
I have listened to and followed his statements from radio and tv shows. He is too much of an idiot for me to waste much time on.
bump
He constantly calls himself "an independent conservative" and the creator of the phrase "compassionate conservative". Are you confusing "Republican" with "conservative"? He definitely says he's not a Republican.

Actually, it says summer 2004, it's more like 9 months old.
Since he is portrayed as a conservative he is a liability to it as well.
So much for the Savage-bashers' whining on FR. He's #5.
in your opinion. I'll take Rush any day of the week. The man is brilliant and right on.
Howard Stern' ideology shows through frequently and he is NOT a conservative.
======
Understandable, since he is strictly a product of his environment.
I'll follow up to my Mike Gallagher comments.
He's a giant simpleton, and not a good face for the Republican party (or for mankind! Ever see this guy's mug?)
All of his arguments are simplistic, and when someone challenges him with reason he just dodges it and hangs up on them.
Just a real simple, and kind of obnoxious man, it's stunning that so many people listening to him.. I can only imagine that the majority of his audience are housewives.
Wow, the "progressive" voices are sure popular.
HA HA HA HA HA.
Medved is fabulous. An extremely sharp debater and a vast fund of information at his fingertips. Also there is something very comforting about him.
I like the way he invites the looney left to call in, as if he were going to convert them all to sense and sensibility a looney at a time. Love the way he patiently says,
"Now work with me on this..."
All the conservatives have something different to offer.
Nobody can beat Rush for political analysis and inside info. He's a little confused on cultural issues.
Hannity is always full of boyish energy and outrage. "That's incredible!"
I listen to Savage when I am so mad I need a blasting rant. "You gotta learn to street-fight with these vermin!!!"
You said: clear-thinking liberal Democrat has the opportunity here. The trouble is that there are few of them.
You are correct. It is difficult to be both a clear-thinking and honest Democrat.......
Dr Savage and Medved are the only one's worth listening to anymore.
I would have to agree. Savage is actually much better than he used to be. While most of the Conserv. hosts - like Hannity, Limbaugh, Galligher, and Laura Eng.- are apologists for the Bush admin., Savage isn't afraid to speak the truth. He just needs to calm down.
Agree with some others that Nancy Skinner is a big lib, O'Reilly is more independent than conservative, & Stern was a Bush-basher in-chief. Also, audience figures are 2 years old...
