What's the deal with the Orioles and the Nationals sharing a cable network?
I don't know. I think it has something to do with O's owner, our mini-Steinbrenner, trying to screw the Nationals, anyway possible because the teams are 45 miles apart. It's "draining" revenue from the Orioles so he's trying to keep the team off the airwaves. Comcast Sports, our cable provider in parts of Maryland, has broadcast all of the O's games, as well as UPN network. The Nats are hurting for a local station to show their games that can be seen by all the area residents at once. We have several cable providers in the DC-MD-VA area. O's owner, Peter Angelos, has been putting pressure on anyone he can, from MLB on down, to mess up the Nats. That's about all I know.
