Heidi Law, one of Terri's nurses in '95 and '96, in her affidavit stated that she fed Terri small mouthfuls of jello on several occasions with a spoon.

Thanks. I'd heard that. The narrow point I was looking to corroborate wat whether Terri was always with a feeding tube from 1990 until 2005. I think the answer to that is "yes." I did find a number of sources that state the last swallow test was done in 1992, and there is no way a feeding tube would have been removed without either a court order aimed at precipitating natural death by dehydration, or a medical test confirming the patient's ability to swallow.

I think it is also agreed that no swallow tests were done following the one in 1992 (or thereabout). Terri's family and some doctors take that as a sign of "giving up" on Terri's life. Michael and Judge Greer take it [absence of further attempts at swallowing] as only a practical and sensible concession to the inevitable.

Doctors recommended that MS pull the tube in '93. He refused. For what it's worth.
