Well, Israel needs to deal with its own problems. Our foreign policy should not be decided by Israel or because of Israel. We should do what is in our national interest -- deal with the fallen world as we see best for America, resist if attacked, build our culture and not try to mix everything and anything for the sake of fairness. We were attacked by Osama's fundamentalists not by Iraq's dictator. Why we are in Iraq is still a mystery to me, IMHO.

The reason we are in Iraq, is:

1. Secure oil supplies, (pay for them, not to steal them), but to maintain access to this resource which is critical to our way of life

2. Kill terrorists

3. Help develop a positive model for Arab/Muslims states by fomenting a democracy.

Its really not that difficult and right now it is working.

I believe God had a purpose for our being in Iraq--to bring Christ to the Middle East and to break the back of Islam. I'm not sure our timing was right, however. I think we went in too soon, but I'm not in charge (darn it). Peace will come but it's with a great price. It won't last forever because we know that Russia and Arabs will attack Israel at some point and then all bets are off.
