As I said, its a concept.

We have problems with burning foliage too.

As a shore bombardment system all firing could be done over the sides, with the back blast going over the other side. No teak decks obviously.

If we can stabilize a tank gun, waves should not be a problem. With guided munitions, you only have to get the cargo projectile close.

I would love to see it if someone could do it. It's a capability that has been sorely negelected and allowed to disappear.
