Subject: POW/MIA: Favorable Court Decision
United States District Court
For the District of Columbia
APRIL 13, 2005
Roger Hall, et al,
Plaintiffs
V.
Central Intelligence Agency,
Defendant
MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
Plaintiffs Roger Hall, Studies Solutions Results, Inc. ("SSRI"), and Accuracy in Media ("AIM") bring this action against the Central Intelligence Agency ("CIA" or "Agency") under the Freedom of Information Act ("FOIA"), 5 U.S.C. 552 et seq. Plaintiffs seek documents relating to Prisoners of War or Missing in Action ("POW/MIAs") from the Vietnam War.
Before the Court are the CIA's motion to stay proceedings or dismiss without prejudice [#5], the CIA's motion to dismiss AIM [#17], Hall's motion to compel production of certain documents [#11], and Plaintiffs' motions for fee limitations and fee waiver [#7, 12]. Upon consideration of these motions, the respective oppositions thereto, and the record of the case, the court finds that each motion should be denied.
The full 17 page decision will be available on our Web site soon. Go to , then click on "BREAKING NEWS". This will be in PDF format. Your time and backing has made this possible. We still have a way to go. Stay behind the case and we will win.

Thank you so much Roger. We all need to support your law suite to have the POW/MIA documents declassified so that we can see why so many POW/MIAs never came home. I would ask anyone that can to please send you a donation for the lawyer costs. If you are part of an organization that cares about our veterans and our POW/MIAs, ask your organization to contribute. It will cost a lot to win this case but if everyone only sent $1.00 it would be enough to move this suite forward.
Thank you so much for taking on this much needed work.
