I'm learning all kinds of things today, mainly about allergies and how different people are affected. Amazing!
I enjoy the flowers as much for smell as for beauty and cannot imagine being allergic to most of them. I'm not sure I'm allergic to any and hope I never shall be).
Do either of you have tree allergies? I know my Hubby is allergic to Oak and Pine pollen (as well as many grasses). Whenever he helped with hay (for horses) his poor head would be messed up for days.
Celticlass, meet my sister.
Sis, meet Celticlass who is also Welshlass but forgot her password like I did on the one website I was on.
(She's 'one of us' but doesn't know it yet.)
I'm not allergic to any trees that I know of. Actually, I rather like the smell
of Pine trees (can you tell I'm one of them thar Appalachian hick types?) ;-)
However, members of this family have Hayfever... all year round. In
the winter we're stuck with the dust & such in the house, in the spring
& summer it's different weeds & kin.
Dogwood and Locust Trees nail me.
We also have Yellow Poplars here, but not too many of them.
So I do not know if they're contributing to my allergies or not.
