I think you answered your own question before you even hit post!!!! The person signs that they have "Witnessed" the documents .... ok.... The 1oK Penalty does not apply for not being a document expert, or did I miss that somewhere ????

The problem is that some employers aren't even making the slightest effort to try and determine if the ID and documents they are handed are valid. All that many employers care about is hiring that cheap illegal labor from south of the border.
