The Ohio Department of Education has the entire school district on "Academic Watch" which means that they don't meet state educational standards. Go figure.

The entire school district doesn't meet academic standards...It's an inner city school. This is common-place among inner city schools were the priorities lie elsewhere. My good bet is that Mifflin High is tops with their football and basketball teams.

We lived in the Columbus area 20+ years ago, and Mifflin was a bad school even then. Sounds like the entire school system has gone to h*ll. Columbus used to be a great city back when the Republicans were in control. I've heard Mayor Coleman has done his best to undo all of the good things, and now he wants to be governor. GREAT!
