"In my opinion the girl who was raped is not near as mentally disabled as those who did the crime and those who stood around and watched"
I believe she had a speech impediment or speech disorder, not mental disability.
I was gonna say what are their priorities, 'cause it sure 'aint education, sure 'aint student safety...... What else is left that's important?!?!?!?
Sorry. I don't buy that. Both parents work because of feminism, not taxation.
I find this interesting considering how most Islamic countries treat their women.
Piss on Islam.
or welfare......
"In my opinion the girl who was raped is not near as mentally disabled as those who did the crime and those who stood around and watched"
these people are NOT ill, mentally or otherwise. to suggest is to enable the behavior. they are EVIL.
Illness needs to be treated, evil needs to be erradicated.
there should be no excuse for these people to hide behind.
My older daughter got her self explelled froom private school so she went to the public school in our district - an inner city (Buckhead) Atlanta public school where most of the kids are bussed from the south side of the city. My daughter didn't learn much on the academic side but learned how to communicate in eubonics and how to spank the baby.
In the L.A. school system it's known as "The Dance of the Lemons." Incompetent administrators can't be fired without great difficulty, so they just shuffle them to another school. Then, after they've screwed up that one, they're shipped to another, while a lemon from another school comes in to replace them.
BTTT
That the Indy channel labeled someone with a speech impediment as developmentally delayed shows the newspaper's ignorance.
Love your blog!
Thanks so much! I got my cigarettes now.
A lot more is coming. and yes it is all true.
I got a lot of emails about the one story included a few veiled warnings.
"Mifflin High School officials who found her bleeding from the mouth March 9 did not call police, and an assistant principal cautioned the girl's father against calling 911 because the media might get involved, "
Well, we see where this guy's priorities are...
"The Ohio Department of Education has the entire school district on "Academic Watch" which means that they don't meet state educational standards. Go figure."
We lived in the Columbus area 20+ years ago, and Mifflin was a bad school even then. Sounds like the entire school system has gone to h*ll. Columbus used to be a great city back when the Republicans were in control. I've heard Mayor Coleman has done his best to undo all of the good things, and now he wants to be governor. GREAT!
This from another Mifflin student:

Teen Sentenced For Role In Trunk Death
Conley Receives 26 Years In Prison

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A teenager was sentenced Tuesday for his role in the death of a local woman whose body was found in the trunk of her burned-out car, NBC 4 reported.
Andre Conley (pictured, left), 17, was sentenced to 26 years in prison without parole for the death of Andrea Nance in March. Conley pleaded guilty in May to involuntary manslaughter, aggravated robbery and aggravated arson.

Conley made a statement Tuesday in court.
"To be honest, I'm not a monster," Conley said. "Just like everyone else, I made a mistake. For what this is worth, I'm sorry."
Prosecutors said that when Conley was 16, he and 17-year-old Marcus Sellers abducted Nance. Sellers was sentenced in September to 45 years in jail.
Sellers, a Mifflin High School student, said he kidnapped Nance, poured gasoline all over her body and then set her car on fire. He also admitted that she was targeted because he was looking for someone to rob.
Nance's body was found in the trunk of her burned car March 9. Conley said that he and Sellers abducted the woman from her apartment, took her purse and forced her into the trunk of the car.
Nance (pictured, right) was locked in the trunk for 12 hours as Sellers used her ATM card for cash and gas. The next day, Sellers returned to the car and saw that Nance was still alive, NBC 4's Nancy Burton reported.
"He then opened the trunk, poured gasoline, closed the trunk, stepped back, lit the first match," Assistant Franklin County Prosecutor Greg Peterson said. "It didn't strike. He lit another. It struck and did in fact ignite the car."
With Nance still in the trunk, Conley said they crashed the car into a ravine. The burning car was found that morning.
Conley's family expressed remorse Tuesday in court.
"We do want them to know how terribly sorry we are today," said Conley's mother, Venice. "This is so far away from who we are."
Nance's father, James, had words for Conley.
"You gave up the best years of your life because you didn't stop to think about right and wrong," James Nance said. "You could have prevented the murder."
Thank the NEA and the LA teacher's union for that problem...
A couple of particularly ineffective LAUSD admins of my (unfortunate) acquaintance come to mind - Allen (sp?) Wexler and Marta Bin. Both would probably have done the exact same thing as this idiot did.
Oh, oh! Disabled? That means she can be put down, right? We now have a precedent and who would condemn the termination of a disabled person in these "progressive" days? (extreme sarcasm here folks).
She has speech problems
Exactly. I make it a point to make sure everyone who knows my daughter, her friends, aquaintances, teachers ('cause you can't trust them either) also knows her father (me) is a "psycho-that-will-kill-you-if-you-mess-with-my-kid" kind of guy. Its worked pretty well so far.
