All that kind of thinking does is reduce the liability of the guys that raped her - "its not their fault, their culture or their race caused it." Its the same thinking that Jesse Jackson uses to say that blacks are unfairly treated in the justice system.
If we stopped being so obsessed with race in situations like this, we would have the credibility to do something about ending affirmative action and closing the mexican border without everyone thinking its for racial reasons.
Two boys raped a disabled girls - prosecute the two boys. Who cares what race they are.
I have never argued race was an excuse.. race is no excuse, poverty is no excuse... your momma not hugging you enough as a child is no excuse, your mother being a whore is no excuse.. your daddy being in jail is no excuse!
By the time you are a teenager there IS NO EXCUSE.. you know right from wrong by that stage in your life.
Frankly not knowing the races of the attackers does nothing for me... I can say that based on the information of this article I make the assumption these boys fall into one of TWO categories...
1) Urban (likely minority) or 2) Overprivaleged Kids of UMC (likely white).
It doesn't matter which they were, they need to be beaten down like the dogs they are.
