I don't know if I agree with this article at all.

I will say that many of the super intelligent do have poor social skills... But those I generally think aren't because they are used to be being right, but that that I believe many of these have slight mental conditions... that make social interraction difficult for them.

I have never found my intelligence to be a hinderence to meeting women. However I learned at a very young age, don't attempt to apply intellegence to relationships... its just not a great practice. The reasoning of human interaction at this level falls into the old quote "man is a reasoning, but not a reasonable animal".

In terms of the "being right" argument... every guy ever born that has or wants a long term realationship with a woman must learn the following when it comes to the fairer sex:

YOU CAN BE HAPPY, OR YOU CAN BE RIGHT!

You want to meet women, take some care of yourself.. use good hygene (sorry guys, but pay the extra $1 a month for shampoo.. don't just use Ivory bar soap to wash your hair)... give them a little attention and make them feel special... and finally... MAKE THEM LAUGH!! If you meet a gal who has no sense of humor (no her not laughing because you spilled red wine on her white dress does not mean she doesn't have a sense of humor, it means you are an ass for laughing at the situation)... RUN RUN AWAY.

I think the single biggest thing I personally see between men AND women.. has nothing to do with intellect, but with individuals who believe they are "all that"... and think that they won't or shouldn't have to ever give an inch.... They repeate the same patterns with the same results and never wish to introspect that MAYBE its them, at least partly to blame for their luck with le amore.
