Exactly! For after all, that IS what remittance means...a payment. :-)

Dancers and actresses are the worst. Sometimes the best, but always the worst. Uh-huh.
To: durasell
Ach, Du.
I have a bit of a problem, there.

We still have large quantities of remittance men in NYC, mostly of the European variety.

I'm not going to look for any advice from a guy who wrote something called "Double Your Dating". I've been married for 27 years. Experience is the best teacher.
To: durasell
Does that not describe all women?

"Hey pal, what do you do?"
"Do? Why I live. I love New York! We are in the heart of the world, there is nothing to do here but live!"
"Well, okay then. Let me know how that works out for you."
Two days later you find out his family owns a ceramic tile factory in Italy where he knocked up half the secretarial staff and about forty very large brothers of the women really would like to talk with him.

Dancers and actresses are in a league by themselves. I think it's their professions that make them crazy.

The dollar is cheap. A lot of real estate going to the sons and daughters of Europeans. The Euro is part of what's driving up the prices.

Ideally, I would be married to a writer. Not an artist, a writer.
Too many G_Darn artists in this clan already.

Friend of mine married an actress. He came home one day and she said, "You just take up too much room." And out the door she went.
