Isn't it just sweet the way Shays and Dodd worry about the future of the Republican party? (/sarcasm)
Bill Christal said it well on FoxNews earlier, that the Dems want DeLay out, because he is the most effective conservative leader in Congress.

As long as he's there, he's going to become a pretty good target," Dodd said on ABC.
As long as ANY GOP member who doesn't do what the left wants is there they'll attack him.
When are we simply going to return fire.

...a lot of the things the Democrats think are wrong about Republican leadership... Can any one spot the key word in this phrase? Yes! It's "think"! Liberals hate anything and everything that doesn't hold the same beliefs that they do. All they need to know to judge you, your friends, ancestors and acquiantences is that you are Republican. Thinking has been out of style at the DNC for years. Anger and hate is all the rage these days.

DeLay "becomes the poster child for a lot of the things the Democrats think are wrong about Republican leadership..."Ooooh! The Democrats think DeLay is wrong! Time to be really, REALLY scared!
'Eff 'em. If they hate DeLay, he must be doing something right.

It's hilarious to hear the liberals get all sanctimonious about "ethics". Where was their concern about ethics during Bill Clinton's 8 year debauch.

Shays is a sissy-boy. Ain't he from Rhode Island?

Shays is an ass. He knows Clinton raped Juanita but voted NO on impeachment. He is the embarrassment.

I'll go out on a limb and say almost every Republican congressman/senator wants him out. Not because of what he might or might haven't done. Because he's someone who is viewed as being in the way of many things that are being done....and not done(illegal immigration). I bet there's also some internal power grabbing going on withing the Republican Caucus, people want promotions. As for the media, they just hate him like any effective Republican and would like to see him crucified.

Each and every elected official, without exception, can be placed into one of three categories: 1. Foul; 2. Fouler; 3. Foulest.
For purposes of providing a benchmark Clinton approached or achieved "Foulest." Gingrich likewise.
Now the problem for the poor slob governed by these classes of "persons" is chosing the least bad. To put it another way the poor decent individual must apply the doctrine of relative filth at voting time. This congress wretch is probably to be placed in the merely "Foul" category. (Though he may have a twelve year old pleasure boy stashed away somewhere-that I don't know!)

This makes me angry. Republicans simply don't stick by their friends like Democrats do. DeLay suffers in a way that few other politicians suffer for doing what is right. He has not been accused of any crimes. This is what he gets. If the Republican Party follows the advice, they are faithless.
