However after they stopped for a bit at a friend's house along the way, it the A/C started working again, so the last hour of the trip was hunky dory. Miss V was in fine spirits, after she ate that is. She was up and inquisitive of her new surroundings for a while, then got hungry again. She ate some, but her Pop was having a hard time getting a burp out of her, and she wasn't happy about it. Grandpa managed to get one out though, a pretty big one at that. About that time her parents, Aunt, Uncle to be, and a sort of honorary Aunt left for the bachelor/bachelor-et party, she got hungry again. (The couple to be separated after the meal, but Miss V's folks are just going to come back here then). So Grandpa gave her the rest of her bottle and she fell asleep WITHOUT BURUPING. I knew that wasn't a Good Thing, so I held her more or less upright in hopes she'd burp in her sleep, but she didn't. When she woke up she was hurting and mad as a wet hen, which of course didn't help. Grandma couldn't get her to burp then either. Finally she vented at the other end, got her diaper changed and finally burped. She ate a little from a new bottle, and is now snoozing peacefully in her portacrib. We are awaiting the arrival of the Great Grandma, Great Uncle and Great Aunt (or Grandma, Uncle, Aunt and cousins of the bride). Then we'll go eat.
The bride to be and her mother are of course all in a froth. Be glad when the wedding is done, and so will they I expect. :)
El Gato, sounds as if you're taking to this like a cat to water!!

I'm out of here.
I have read both of ya'lls threads, and it sounds like El Gato has had the most stressful time in the last few days!!!
LOL
Seriesly, Cowboy, it sounds like you are doing very well, and ahead of schedule, I see. I bet you have always been the impatient type, haven't you? LOL Well, take it one day at a time, and before you know it, you will be jogging the halls of the hospital...maybe not...
Prayers up TC to you and your from a fellow Texan, God Please keep your hand out if TC needs one to hold on to for a while...
El Gato---you sound like a super-duper Grandpa, and I know how you feel about getting those burps...sometimes they are elusive to get from the wee ones....Miss V sure is lucky to have you!
