Yes, it is hot and humid. The heat index has been running around 105. I think today is supposed to be a little better. (I hope anyway.) Isn't the South great?
Yes indeed the South is great! 105 sounds like heaven. It started out at 59 here this morning and the temp has been dropping every since. No sun. Drizzle punctuated by thunder showers. Yesterday it was so dark at midday I thought the End had come and so did my dog and cat who huddled near me with worried looks. Thunder shook the house like a 4.9 quake. I'm wearing a polartec jacket and socks indoors and have the heat on. Forecast is more of the same for the next week at least. This year, the temp reached 80 for two HOURS only...one sunny day, the rest miserable gloom.
This Global Warming stuff is just awful!
