I have driven back down a few times years ago and there is a point before leaving Oregon that the scent in the air actually changes to a dry grass smell. On our return trips that scent of Oregon once back over the border so many miles is Sweeeeet!
I'm enjoying the time with my daughter and son-in-law. They come to the hospital every other day.
I haven't heard about any mudslides being close to the hospital.
I love to walk barefooted through squishy mud, but I need to wait a few weeks.
