Prayers for TexasCowboy!

TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.

Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.

So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.

Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!

Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.

I'm using a different computer than the one I posted that with. I couldn't see it either. Try right clicking and selecting "View Image". That should let you look at the image, and then when you go back (back arrow) you should be able to see it on the FR page as well. At least that worked with Firefox.

Meant to add. I saw her this evening, and will help babysit her tommorrow.

Tonight we are staying at her Aunt B's. Plan was to go to San Antonio for the weekend, but a little pup, adopted from the Austin Town Lake Animal Center, put the kibosh on those plans. His new name is Mortimer, Morty for short, he's half Schnauzer half Catahoula, or so they say. Has one blue eye and one brown and eye, and lots of cute.

I have a catahoula X. 2 of them in fact. Wonderful dogs!! I like dogs almost as much as kids. In fact, depending on the kid, sometimes I like the dog more! LOL

Maybe not, it turns out "Da Mole" is her father's nickname. Who knew? Certainly not his father in law.

Maybe she'll be TheAmazingMissV, or maybe Da Molette. Or, now that I'm getting to know her a bit, she's likely to come up with something entirely different.

UPDATE ON TC.....

Well I finally got to talk to TC today. He is staying strong in his vision to get into treatment, but admits that he's having a hard time right now.

He's been home for 3 days. A milestone! They were able to treat the lung to try and stop it from filling with fluid and so far, it seems to be doing the job.

We didn't stay on the phone long. Anything "extra" takes a lot of energy from him. We were able to let Logan tell him "TT" and "Bye, wuv you" and that did bring a chuckle from TC. The baby has NOT forgotten him and when he hears me talking on the phone, if I mention TC's name, he starts yelling to talk to him. They have a very special bond these two. His little prayer always includes TC. He doesn't utter the prayer, but folds his hands while we pray for his Uncle TC. I know God and His angels are listening.

Faith is not doing good right now either. This is really taking a toll on her and she has missed some treatments because of the time factor involved in helping her dad. Please include her in your prayers. She and Joel have done everything they can to take care of TC in the best possible way. It's no wonder he loves her so.

To everyone who remains steadfast in their prayers and well wishes, Thank you. I will again update when there is more news. Hopefully the next time I post, it will be to announce that he has at least started radiation for the brain cancer and perhaps even the other long awaited treatment.
