A Few Prayers for Texas Cowboy!!

Since the campfire is burnin' and El Gato is not yet here,
amom. I'll start the night off with a cowboy joke...

The Cowboys New Horse

A cowboy was trying to buy a horse from a horse seller.

The seller says, "I guess theres a little something you should know about this horse. He'll stop running when you say Amen, and he starts running when you say Praise The Lord!"

The cowboy said. "No Problem," and buys the horse.
He rides off on the horse, and suddenly decides to test the horse.
So he says, "Amen" and the horse stops in the road, just like the man said.
He says, "Praise The Lord" and the horse takes off running like mad, with the man holding on as hard as he could.

He yells, "Stop! Stop! Whoah, and You stupid horse" though nothing works!
So the cowboy began praying.
"Dear God, Oh Please let the horse stop!
Please God, Make him stop now. Amen."

The horse stopped right at the edge of a cliff.
With great joy and enthusiasm, the man screamed out,
very loudly "Praise The Lord!"

Thank you for the update...the Aquarium, huh? Are we sure he didn't take his fishing pole with him? LOL

I am glad he is getting out, and I would love it if we heard from him tommorrow...

He says he has "issues" also....hopefully, they are just minor adjustments to the old belts and gauges and such...

What were *you* thinking? What the heck was I thinking? Now I've got to look at endless pictures of drowned cats, and a few dogs too.

BTW, Miss V says "Hi", to TC and all his ladies.

I Just got back from Austin, where I got to feed and entertain Miss V. Plus eat some crab claws and leg of lamb that her Daddy made. Granny Gato is up in Nebraska visiting Miss V's only still complete "set" of great-grandparents. Tomorrow she'll stop and see Miss V's other living great grandma. (She also has a Great Grandpa Ted back east)

Ahh, one of my favorites, and I'm sure one of TC's as well.

I once saw Roy, Dale, Pat Brady, Nelli Belle (pat's Jeep) , Trigger and Trigger Jr. at the state fair. Even got to "lean" on Lucy Belle and pet Trigger Jr. in his stall.

(Dad used to call our '53 V-8 Pontiac "Lucy Belle")
