Tried so hard for an all-nighter. Unfortunately even with tons of coffee, I fell asleep at 2:15 a.m. however I awoke three hours later just as they were preparing for communion. I did so want to hear Ratzinger's homily as I found his resume of strict conservatism impressive and wouldn't be surprised if he follows John Paul and Great as our next Pope.

The applause and chanting of "Santo" from the crowd was too much to bear and I found myself filled with so much pride for the man. Hearing "Ava Maria" would surely have had me standing in a puddle. What a truly moving experience and I'm sorry it's over.

Any clue if it will be replayed in it's entirety?
